Yin Yoga is the practice of holding specific yoga postures to apply gentle stress to connective tissues and joints in order to increase circulation and ease of movement through the main nexuses of the body. This passive approach to familiar yoga postures is the perfect compliment to active use of the body, allowing slow and safe release for the hips, lower back, and shoulders. You will leave this workshop with a basic understanding of Yin Yoga and a handful of tools you can use to safely practice on your own. This practice is appropriate for all levels of student.
